The Really Terrible Orchestra of Westchester is a not-for-profit ensemble of musical amateurs who do not let rusty skills or fear of success get in the way of philharmonic fun. We are Westchester's splendid substandard symphony! Since 2009, we have been playing our music at various venues throughout Westchester: libraries, farmers’ markets, shopping malls, parks and senior communities.

Our mission is to share a love of music and the desire to improve our playing while having FUN!  We provide a non-judgmental, all-inclusive ambiance for all who wish to have the unique experience of playing in a symphony orchestra under the baton of a professional conductor, Nathaniel Chase.

We are people with all different types of musical experiences. Some played in high school or college. Some are adult beginners who’ve only played a few years and others have not touched their instrument in decades. The members come from all walks of life and include students, people actively working in a variety of careers and retired individuals.
